The Boarshurst Centre is a single storey building located in the village of Greenfield, in the valley of the River Chew and on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
The centre is entirely run and managed by an enthusiastic group of volunteers who wish to ensure that you enjoy your stay.
It is available to hire for overnight accommodation to all groups of people and families who wish to use it as a base from which to enjoy outdoor activities and events within the Saddleworth area. It can also be used as a base for families who wish to meet up for a family gathering.
The building provides warm, clean and well maintained facilities for the sole use of a visiting party of up to 32 people.
Greenfield has a local train station about 15 minutes walk away. We are 20 minutes from Manchester by train and 40 minutes from Leeds by train. There are also bus links to Oldham and Manchester. The village has a supermarket, local shops, pubs and eating establishments.
